Hi
In India we we do a dish called Bajjias which is some vegetable soaked in a batter with spices and deep fried. Our sensei( Japanese language teacher) said it resembles tempura.

You need to heat minimum oil for deep frying. Thats the first rule. keep the temperature low or optimum. This avoids blackening of oil by charred food particles .After frying cool and filter. store in a glass bottle or reusable can/bottle. You can use this oil for not only deep frying but also to shallow fry vegetables.

Wow! Thanks for the tips (^^)

Yeah, I figured there was no real cure/prevention of a hangover. Otherwise it'd be all over the news as a great miracle solution! Still, I thought it was worth asking.

Thanks again for the tips and if I ever make those candles I'll be sure to post!

ウコンの力 (Ukon no Chikara) has been a life saver several times. I usually use the powder version before drinking, and one after I'm finished drinking. It's helped out with alot of the hangoverness. Another miracle cure I've found is eating Maku burgers when I wake up. The greese seems to help my stomach settle if I'm feeling real hung over.
My friends use Regain too. It's kinda like redbull.

In the Netherlands people put sunflower oil in their diesel cars because a liter sunflower oil is about €0.45 cheaper than a liter diesel. Some even suggest using used - filtered - oil as it's better for your engine.

Good money saving tip as I say it myself ;-).

I ran the candle-making page through Google translator, with somewhat decent results--may be enough to get her through!

There is NO such thing as a magic drink you can have before a night on the turps that will prevent a hangover, if you think something has worked then you didn't drink enough the night before.

Water and as much of it as you can before, during and after is about as good as it can get. As for the next day, what makes you bad makes you better so just get back on the horse.

I tried ウコンの力 (Ukon no Chikara) quite a few times, but really, I think there is no substitute for forcing yourself to drink water before passing out for the evening.
